There are many local mental health facilities that offer inpatient treatment for individuals suffering from crisis episodes, suicidal ideations, or suicide attempts. Group Sessions
There are many support groups for individuals who are dealing with similar mental health conditions as you are. Hearing the stories of others is a great way to remind yourself that you are not alone in this fight, and these other individuals may be able to help you learn new techniques in controlling your thoughts. A Letter from Our Founder
Hello, I'm JJ Feehan. I am the founder of Pete's Legacy. Pete's Legacy is a Non-profit I started to bring awareness to Suicide/ Veteran Suicide and help those who are thinking suicide is the answer. Mat Manning, my best friend and brother, comitted suicide on December 5th, 2015. One year after Mat's passing, I attempted to take my own life. The only thing that stopped me was that the bullet was a dud. From that day I knew I wanted to help anybody who felt just as I did, as Mat did. The name "Pete's Legacy" started as a nickname Mat and I would call his uncle Denny Manning. "Pete" eventually became a name that represented the brotherhood all three of us shared. Bestowing the name "Pete" onto a friend is the equivalent of saying "I trust you". So thus, Pete's Legacy became the name for this non profit. A symbol of what we have lost and how we can reconcile within ourselves to help people. All donations offered to Pete'sLegacy will go directly to Suicide Awareness/Prevention. My goal in life is to stop Suicide by helping one person at a time.

Founder
Pete's Legacy was founded by JJ Feehan located in the Southeastern Iowa area. A close friend to Mat, JJ set out to create this Non-profit so he could help as many people as possible who are suffering just as Mat did.
A loving friend to those in our community, JJ upkeeps this site out of his own pocket to ensure all proceeds can go directly to individuals who are in need mental health services.
